Overview
About Me
27, student/barista, living in Newcastle, Australia.
Love to travel and currently working out where I can go on a student budget - so hello South East Asia!
Next trip will be Laos, Cambodia and Thailand
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have always enjoyed meeting new people and making friends.
I love to see a city or town like a local does, and in turn, love to show people where I come from too!
I think I'm a pretty friendly and easy going person and easy to get along with. I think the idea of Couchsurfing is so inspired and I can't believe it's taken me this long to get on board.
Interests
Travel is obviously one of the biggest interests and influences in my life. It also encompasses everything else that I love - being outdoors, exploring histories and cultures, trying incredible food, and reading in a hammock somewhere.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love a wide range of music from jazz and blues to old rock, folk and a lot of new bands and musicians. On repeat listen at the moment - Father John Misty, Fleet Foxes, the Tallest Man on Earth...anything appropriate for long stares out of bus windows.
As for movies I love anything written/directed by Wes Anderson, and a fair percent of Woody Allen too. Favourite movies are Billy Elliot and Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure.
Books involving history or fantasy are usually winners, and if it's part of a series I'm usually hooked. Some favourites are Harry Potter, the Adrian Mole books and the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked and cried from Quetzaltenango to Lake Atitlan, battered and bruised after 3 days, and watched the sun rising over the lake.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My knowledge of random pop culture, helping to create great food together.
