Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Trying to learn as much as I can about computers, bioinformatics and letting my inner geek out
ABOUT ME
I enjoy nature, knowledge and good food, people that care and learning about how things work. Cats, good books and lively conversations make me feel like the world isn´t such a bad place after all.
PHILOSOPHY
Currently: Think about what you need before you make decisions. Then see things through to the end.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I´ve couchsurfed here and there while traveling, mostly in Finland. (Almost) only had great experiences so far.
Interests
Listening to half-inspiring TED Talks (let´s see how long this lasts), learning about network-protocols (same with this one), studying as much as I can to get closer to being able to do the things I really I want to do (for example sequencing DNA found at crime scenes, that would be great), doing analog photography, designing and drawing, passing the time with a warm cat in my lap and a good book in my hands. Being out in nature, bouldering . Learning new languages (I want to learn Hungarian and Finnish, if only DuoLingo would hurry with releasing them) and new perspectives, from strangers and friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Playing on a playground at midnight in still light, warm, end of July Oslo.
First time in Finland, crossing the border from Sweden to Finland in a small bus.
Taking the train to one random stop in lower Austria, walking to the floodplains, getting lost there for hours and hitch hiking back with a sign saying "Vienna" on the back of a sketch for a tattoo I would get a month later.
Spending hours in a Sauna with a good friend on interrail.
Spending three days in a Norwegian cabin in the woods, completely snowed in.
Taking a train to the north of Sweden, towards the midnight sun.
What I Can Share with Hosts
German language lessons, computer skills (more or less), and if you need a photoshooting...
Countries I’ve Visited
Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden, United States
