Overview
About Me
I'm a bilingual (FR/EN) touring musician with a love for people and learning about cultures. If I wasn’t a songwriter, I’d likely have a job in the sciences or perhaps be an anthropologist!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on couchsurfing to meet new people and save a bit of cash while touring. I ran an Air BnB in Nashville (I was a Superhost!) so you can count on me to be communicative, respectful and honest. I love the grass roots movement of sharing. When I had an RV i was part of BoondockersWelcome (a driveway sharing site), as well I have a dog (who stays home while I’m touring) but we use Rover to meet new dog sitters and walkers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived in Australia for 7 years which is where I learned to play guitar and I’ve been a full-time touring musician since. I host workshops for young people on self-confidence through music and consider myself a champion for mental health and open conversations. Check me out www.melaniebrulee.com
Teach, Learn, Share
Just learning to knit, loving it. I'm such a nanna! I can teach you some French if you like or if we have time we can write a song together!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've got mad kitchen skills! And I can play you a song or two!
