My name is Melanie and I studied Bioengineering at Miami University in Ohio. While in school, for 6 months, I lived in Spain and studied Spanish. Currently I am working as a Systems Engineer for automation in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries. I enjoy traveling and LOVE the outdoors. I am always up for an adventure, and I am trying to see as much of the world as I can in my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Engineered a system to deliver clean water to the village of Chaguarpamba, Ecuador.
Hiked the Cotopaxi Volcano in Ecuador to the Refugio José Félix Ribas at an elevation of 4864 m (15,953 ft) without any gear.
