Hi! My name is Melanie, 20, student traveling the world. I'm really open-minded and adventurous. Currently studying abroad in London, but I'm traveling around for a month and really getting to know Europe. I'm 100% latina (Colombian & Mexican). When I have the time, I enjoy reading and hanging out with my friends. My absolute favorite thing to do is watch sunsets (as corny as that sounds) and eat pizza with good company. I'm a huge animal lover, too! My dog is one of my best friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Staying in hotels and hostels isn't always as pleasing as staying with locals. I really enjoy making friends around the world and getting insight from different people. It's better to hang out with some nice company than getting thrown into hostel with strangers that aren't always open to conversation.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to alll sorts of music, country, pop, hip-hop, soul, jazz... anything that gets me moving.
My favorite kind of movies are romanic comedies... I don't really like action movies. Finding Nemo is my favorite movie of all time-- I can never get tired of watching it.
A Thousand Splendid Suns is my favorite book of all time. I'm currently reading Harry Potter and trying to get into the series.
