CURRENT MISSION
laugh as much as I can. Without dying.
ABOUT ME
Hello Hello. My name is Melanie and I am currently settling down. At least until I am done with my degree. But there is still some time between: plenty of weekends and Uni break. I have to use the time I have got.
I would like to meet some people, crash on their couches and become friends forever- Or we treat it all as an One-night-stand-experience, don´t talk during the whole stay and feel pretty awkward afterwards. Call me old fashioned, but I would prefer the first one.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy getting out of my environment. Exploring new places, cultures, food and souls.
I am usually traveling with my backpack and a tent. But there are days when you love listening to a new story, when you feel the need of sleeping in a dry spot and when you don´t want to rush of in the morning because you camped somewhere illegal.
I have been meeting a lo of locals during my travels and they invited me to their homes. It was beautiful. Every single time. So I decided to join CS to be able to give this back to other strangers and to head off one day without my tent.
Interests
I am easy going, open for new adventures and conversations. I like food, sport, dancing and music.
I try to learn a new fact every day.
Did you know that a goldfish can actually remember things for up to five months?

Teach, Learn, Share
I am learning a few things. As a long term mission.I think nearly any skill can be useful at some point.
I learned how to knit in Australia and I tried to knit for 22 h on the plane to get back to Germany.
Between a few gins, snoozes and food, I did finish a scarf.
I would like to re-learn this actually.
I love music. I have veen playing instruments but I lost it.
But I love dancing to music. And I am definitely able to teach to dance without caring about other people watching.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love cooking and baking.
I had the pleasure to be in love with a chef who filled my belly and mind with deliciousness.
I am active, spontaneous (as much as a German can be) and happy. And I am funny. People say so.
I literally share what I have. This is what I have learned while I was traveling.
