About Me

CURRENT MISSION

walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart and you'll never walk alone

ABOUT ME

I am currently a student at Queen's University studying Geography and Environmental studies with a raging case of the travel bug. I love meeting new people, and living vicariously through others. i love hearing people's stories (and then pretending that I was there too). I'm still figuring out what exactly my role is on this earth, but trying to figure it out is half the fun :)

PHILOSOPHY

no regrets, just love. Every day i challenge myself to find love in new places, and to learn and grow from my all of my experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have both hosted and been hosted- and they are both a blast! I <3 couchsurfing! It gives me hope that there is still a chance for humanity.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met some awesome friends and travel companions through couchsurfing, and have heard some awesome stories! At the very least it is extremely comforting having a friendly face and being around like-minded people.

I have often had couchsurfers thank me for hosting- when in fact I always feel that it is I who should be thanking them- for teaching me something new, or for simply renewing my faith in the good of humanity.

Interests

Hiking, anything nature related (hence the geography degree), sports, animals, yoga, reading, writing, dreaming, storms, new friends, old friends, children, justice, stories

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee jumping at a bar in Mexico at 1am. There is no feeling in the world that can compare with the free fall of a bungee jump as you plummet face first towards to the ground and placing all your trust in a cord that is fastened to your ankles with a towel.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to french braid? I know a lot about horses, and I'm in geography and environmental studies so I love the earth and know a lot of nerdy facts about it. I'm also a self-proclaimed excellent baker and drink/cocktail making connoisseur

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, United Kingdom
