CURRENT MISSION

Going to Israel from April to June 2016, doing an internship in Haifa at a social organization and discovering Israels art and music scene in my free time there. So if you are doing art, music or socially related projects please contact me - I'd love to meet you!

ABOUT ME

I am an art education student and the singer/violinist in the Balkan Band "Batiar Gang" located in Leipzig, Germany. I love meeting new people through making music and art together just as I love travelling and learning about different cultures. In my free time I'm doing yoga, discovering new places and am always looking for new music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here to meet people that think alike and that would like to connect with me in order to create. Right now I am especially looking for people in Israel that would like to host me, work with me, show me their country and jam with me while I'm there!

Interests

Music (balkan music, klezmer music, ethno folk, experimental electro music, jazz, country, blues), singing and playing violin, jam sessions. Art exhibitions and making art. Politics, feminism and intercultural work - I am always eager to discuss and exchange ideas. I am passionate about the authentic music of different cultures and countrys.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn Hebrew. I am a total beginner - to be honest I only learned the alphabet and the total basics like "who are you?" and "what would you like to drink?".

So I'd be happy to learn Hebrew. In exchange I can teach you German, Ukrainian, a few Ukrainian songs, violin, a few chords on the guitar!
