About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see and appreciate the world for all that it is.

ABOUT ME

These days It is so easy to get caught up in the doldrums of daily life, whether it be work, school, or some other responsibility. ...but if life is nothing more than the 9-5 grind, whoop-di-do. Luckily there are plenty of things to do, no matter where you live. ...things to do, places to go, people to meet, things to try, and endless opportunities to give back to the global community. Couchsurfing makes these opportunities readily available to anyone who is willing keep an open mind. Local CS groups connect people from all walks of life and gives them a chance to share common-ground as well as personal interests. For those seeking travel advice, a post on the Couchsurfing forums will yield a flurry of responses. And for the full Couchsurfing experience, members can share their homes with world-travelers or stay with a host of their choice anywhere in the world.

PHILOSOPHY

"Time you enjoy wasting, was not wasted." -John Lennon

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't currently have my own place, so I can't offer a couch. But I would be happy to meet up and have a cup of coffee, or show you around the Boise area. I also try to help with a lot of event planning. So check out what's going on with the Boise Group!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CouchSurfed in Boston and Napa Valley. I enjoy showing people around town when they contact me and have planned several events for the local group (Photo Scavenger Hunt, BBQ's, etc.)

Interests

People, playing guitar, listening to music, tennis, hiking (Idaho is a great place for this), movies (lately I've been watching quite a few classics), etc. I'll have to expand on all of this later.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to all of the western states except for Alaska, and seen a handful of eastern states. Took a spring-break roadtrip with a buddy into Canada, and had one of the best experiences of my life. ...we even slept under a bridge. :) A few of my favorite places so far: Hawaii, Washington D.C., New York, Victoria BC.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been working as a computer tech for several years, so if you feel like throwing your computer off of the top floor of your apartment building, I could probably take a look at it for you. I am an Apple fan, so if you have a shiny new Mac and don't know how to use it, I can give you a pretty good demo.
