Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Working for the progress of humanity.
ABOUT ME
Stuart is an archaeologist working in the cultural field, with a deep love for traveling and talking very late at night around a good belgian beer, or other drink, rethinking the world in a more human and less money orientated way.
Melanie is a linguist working as an assistant publisher specialising in child and teenager books, she loves nothing more than reading near an open fire.
PHILOSOPHY
One of us is catholic, the other agnostic. We both share a deep humanist feeling.
We enjoy talking to new people and discovering new interests and cultures. To us, the blend of cultures brings us closer together as human beings, brings understanding and acceptance of others as they are, and thus promotes peace and fairness around the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well, we are often travelling... But when we are back, we like to welcome open minded, progressist and interested people to our little home near the Historical Waterloo in Belgium, helping people to discover a little bit of what makes Belgium an interesting place to visit...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Many couches, but never finally through couch surfing, although sometimes through couchsurfing contacts.
