About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm a newly minted registered nurse working and living in the Boston area.
ABOUT ME
I'm a positive and chill person who loves meeting new people and finding secret hiding spots in nature. I live an active lifestyle. I love to do yoga, hike, rock climb, snowboard, sail and more! I try to say yes to new experiences, even if I'm tired. I'm low maintenance and easy going, and I love to listen to people's stories. I aim to find joy in the simple things.
PHILOSOPHY
Smile a lot. Share with others, even strangers. Be genuinely engaged and interested in what others have to say. Tell yourself that you're beautiful and awesome on a daily basis. Practice patience and forgiveness. Read books. Take deep breaths. Move your body around wildly, to loud music that excites your soul. Giggle to yourself. Say yes when you're afraid of new experiences. Floss your teeth. Express your creativity in some way. Try to learn another language. Travel, travel, travel. Give gratitude to the natural world and the people and creatures in it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm always happy to meet a friendly face.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed on couches throughout Ecuador and Chile and LOVED the experience. It's a great way to meet open, friendly, and super generous people. I can't wait to offer a couch when I have my own place again!
Interests
I love to sing, do yoga, dance, meet new people, read books, ride my bike, go swimming in the ocean, and cook. I love to do things that challenge me personally and expand my mind through putting me outside of my comfort zone. I'm learning the ukelele and I want to be a nurse practitioner. I believe in a sustainable food system and being part of a close and nourishing community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After I graduated college in December 2012, I peaced out of this continent and went far south with my best friend from university--to the Patagonian Andes! We climbed all the way north to Ecuador-- we hiked and took in jaw-dropping scenery, we met locals and made our way through conversations in Spanish, we ate great fresh food bought from beautiful, smiling women, we chilled in cities and worked on farms, we sat for many hours on buses, we crossed rivers, we trampled through the jungle, we skinny dipped in oceans and lakes, and learned the definition of patience, endurance, and friendship.
