About Me
CURRENT MISSION
January 2012 Mission: on the hunt for the best okonomiyaki in Japan!
ABOUT ME
G'day. I'm a happy 23 year old student from South Australia, living in Melbourne. When I'm not hitting the books, wanderlust takes over and I'm ready to move, eat, and learn something new. The only thing I like more than seeing new places is meeting interesting and warm people.
PHILOSOPHY
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Being a considerate and humble surfer, and an exceptionally warm host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm new to the site, but I've had a lot of experience 'unofficially' couch-surfing. As a teenager I surfed across Greece staying on couches in Rhodes, Paros, Santorini, Ios, Athens and Thessaloniki. Back in Australia, I've also hosted people I've met traveling from Greece, Hong Kong, Fiji and Japan.
Interests
Food, coffee, talking about coffee, making coffee, rugby, fishing, making crepes, hearing good stories, telling good stories, making breakfast, reading.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books If I wasn't studying, working or travelling, I would spend all my time reading. My favourite book of this year was Sam Lipstyte's The Ask. My cliche favourites are Brave New World and The Catcher in the Rye. Guilty pleasure books? Anything by David Sedaris or Alain de Botton. Reading right now Murakami's IQ84.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spear fishing as the sun set in Rhodes, Greece. Magic.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to read the trails in a tea cup, make Greek desserts, and shuffle a deck of cards like a pro.
Countries I’ve Visited
China, Fiji, France, Japan, Singapore, United Kingdom, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
Australia, Greece
