Hi, I'm Greg. Tertiary qualified and professionally employed in the health/ mental health sector.

Fit and active - see interests below.

Love spending time with family and friends in Melbourne and love travelling. Been privileged to have travelled extensively. Generally attend a conference somewhere in the world and tack a holiday on the side. Such holidays tend to be of the adventurous kind, sailing, hiking, hopping the Greek Islands etc.

Very social - like meeting new people and comfortable conversing.

Non smoker and very light drinker.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm an optimist and have a positive mental attitude. I have an altruistic nature. I have a happy disposition, good sense of humour and my mood rarely fluctuates - never angry and rarely sad.
Like being able to see the other person's point of view - like it when they can see mine.
Don't like injustice or people being taken advantage of.
Not into star signs or astrology.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've lived in share households for many years and like the company. I've had my sons stay with me occasionally, and other friends when they are between homes. Prefer company to living alone so happy to have guests use my spare bedroom.
I have an underutilised resource (my home) that I'm happy to share. Having travelled extensively in the past, I've enjoyed meeting people o/s and may utilise couch surfing as a form of accommodation in future travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted lots of guests since first registering in January 2012. Overwhelming really - its been great. Lots of couples, girls travelling together and a couple of single guys. All have been really nice and friendly and we've enjoyed hanging out.

Was a guest of Couchsurfing hosts during travels to Russia and Finland in March 2013 and in India in 2016 - amazing holidays and amazingly generous and hospitable hosts - thank you so much for your kindness.

兴趣

I ride a motorcycle, not professionally but to commute daily to work. I play volleyball and tennis weekly. .
I'm a keen cyclist, riding the push bike regularly and participate in the "around the bay in a day bike ride (210 km) annually.
Very family oriented. Love spending time with my two teenage sons, my parents and sister.
With friends, picnics in the park, at the beach, movies in the Botanic Gardens over summer. :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I'm very fortunate to have seen and done more than one amazing thing in my lifetime. Up there include witnessing the birth of my two sons, climbing Mt Kilimanjaro, getting a pilot licence and walking the Great Wall of China. I should mention scuba diving and snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef.
