About Me

I'm a coder at a local college, aspiring artist, and forever activist. Always trying to think of ways to make this place a bit better with other ppl who share similar visions :). I've lived in LR for some time, and even tho I'm not from here and sometimes it's hard to see, it's a city with an interesting history, culture, and some beautiful people.

As far as traveling, I come from a low-income background so I haven't had the chance to travel much but being an immigrant has taught me things about place, people, culture, and identity that are super important to me and have made me who I am.

PHILOSOPHY
I know that. We all have something worthy to contribute just by virtue of being alive. Even if life does this thing of not really being fair some times and that gets in the way of knowing this, believing in it.
Etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Good times with travelers. As a host/meetup date - showing off Little Rock to newcomers, letting them know of cool events while they're here, even throw some (half-baked) history from this city in there lol.
As a traveler, getting to know folks that are part of the communities i visit.
I think being the world-adventurer type is really badass if you have access to it - but as long as you're a genuine, passionate and decent person who likes having ppl around, then yeah I'm down.

I'm currently not able to host but it's definitely in my future.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ask me! I dont watch TV or movies that much but music is rlly important to me. I also listen to more podcasts than most of the ppl i know lol.
As for books. I've been reading mainly books by writers of color. I read mostly non-fiction but have been finding myself reading poetry lately 💕

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Move to a completely different country as a kid and kicked ass in many ways :).

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - Spanish mainly. I also love art and art exercises. Coding if ur interested? Lol.

Learn - Anything really within limits lol. Especially like sports related cause I lack severely in that area.

Share - music, food recipes, favorite stuff, favorite books, podcasts, funny stories, art in most forms and regardless of skill level.

What I Can Share with Hosts

my stories, empathy, enthusiasm, general interest in just life.
If u got a project in ur house like art or home improvement I'll participate hands down without much thought lol.
