Greetings! My name is Mel and I am an avid explorer, an optimistic adventurer and a happy soul.

I am currently working for an experiential education school in Cusco, Peru. I will be working until the end of August and then looking to explore more of Peru.

Most of the year I live out of my car while I work in the great outdoors in beautiful places in the US such as the cascade mountains, Yosemite National Park, The redwood forests, or The desert of Joshua Tree National Park. I grew up around the finger lakes in western New York State, but have been exploreing the western United States for the last five years.

I consider myself easy-going and a polite guest who always helps with the dishes.

Interests

I love outdoor sports - rock climbing, splitboarding, kayaking, backpacking, and just being outside.

I also love meeting new people, exploring new places, sitting around campfires, playing games (bored games, bar games, sports, all games) cooking, and currently studying Spanish.
