My name is Melchior Jourdan, a 30-year-old French flight attendant from France.

I am what I always say I am on every resume I have ever sent: open-minded, kind, in love with Asian culture, and an unconditional travel addict. I discovered Japan when I was younger, because I loved volcanoes, ramen, and Doraemon (and I still do more than ever). From my initial desire to visit Japan, the whole world opened up to me and I now want to go everywhere.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Visiting a foreign country is good. But a country wouldn't be worth visiting without its inhabitants. To me, couchsurfing is the best way to spend some rewarding time with great people from other culture, learn from them and have fun together.
