I'm Jaroslav,

I work as a project manager at Nordcurrent, the Lithuanian game development and publishing studio. I have previously worked as a development instructor and done volunteering work in Zambia, working in a project to help the poor and raising awareness of malaria and HIV.

I consider myself a very open-minded person and enjoy meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing provides a great opportunity to meet people from all around the world, broaden one's horizons and establish new connections. And it's just plain fun. Couchsurfing empowers open-minded and hospitable people to get in contact with each other and bring the world a little closer together.

Interests

I'm a game developer that loves one's job, but that is not my only interest. I greatly enjoy photography and travelling as well. If meeting new interesting people can be counted as a hobby, it should also be included here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've spent six months as a development instructor in the Western Province of Zambia, mostly Mongu town and its surroundings, working with the local support groups, raising awareness of the tropical diseases and establishing partnerships to provide support to the poor. It has been a life-changing experience that has shaped me as a person a lot. I have had this chance to change lives of more than 1000 people and those people have changed my life equally.
