ABOUT ME

First and foremost, it should be said that I am pretty weird. I think far too much for my own good, and generally in a fashion you won't hear about on mainstream television. I feel as if I was born in the wrong century, as I think do many of the men my age, and possibly in the wrong world in general. I crave adventure of a medieval fashion, but love more than most anything sitting up late talking of any and everything over coffee and cigarettes. If you asked me, I'd most likely say that hospitality is the greatest virtue one can posess.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a Theosophist, with neo-Pagan tendencies. Basically, I believe that no single religion has ever quantified all the finer points of the real Truth of things, but that adherence to a religious philosophy is not inherently wrong, as God speaks all languages and is thus capable of directing men to understanding through the use of many facets. Also, I have a high reverence for all the natural things of this planet and life in all its forms, but do realise that some of this planet's lifeforms were created so that others could survive.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I tell a lot of people about couchsurfing; anyone trying to learn about traveling inexpensively. Also, I had an argument with an elder man who had been walking all across America for a decade or so about the value of the internet. This website was my primary argument for the positive that can be done with this oddball creation.

I, unfortunately, haven't had many experiences outside sleeping on the couches of friends I was visiting...

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach a few good recipes I know, or a useful thing or two about self-defense, or a foot-bag trick, or I could edit something you're writing, or I could teach you how to build harmonic triads in any key, or I could teach you how to figure compound interest on credit cards, loans, etc, or I could teach you how to build a campfire, or how to play chess. Things I'd like to learn...hmm....anything I don't already know, that's for sure, but specifically I'd like to learn how to dance...well...kind of... Also, and-at this point above all-I'd like to learn the martial art forms from Europe during the middle ages.
