COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted friends and I've been hosted by people from all over Ukraine, Russia, Turkey (they were friends and friends of friends and friends of friends of friends, then I found this page...wow).
It's always a wonderful experience to learn customs, habits, local pecularities, languages, history and all the stuff which is different from what I am used to.

Interests

1. Languages (the funniest thing is to learn the sounds which are not there in the languages I know)
2.Cross-cultural communication (be as caring as possible...and it's always possible)
3.Football (EURO 2012 Poland-Ukraine was a fantastic lifetime experience! Brazil 2014 was awesome!)
4. Discovering (not just travel but learn&share smth really important)... long discussions, sharing opinions, experiences, etc.
5. Finding a relative soul.

Music: Starting with Chaykovskiy and ending up with Metallica (now in player: Arjun, 33a Niaz Diasamidze, Mixalis Xatzigiannis, Bollywood&Kollywood songs, Bryan Adams, Beyonce, BSB and all kinds of happy or catchy melodies) Ukrainian adviced music: Okean Elzy, Skay, Bumbox, Ёлка, Ruslana. Movies like "Pass it on" (Jon Dixon), "Peaceful warrior",(Victor Salva) "Life is beautiful"(Roberto Benigni), "Back in the future" (Robert Zemeckis), The Kite Runner (based on novel by Khaled Hosseini), In time€ by Andrew Niccol, "Underground" by Emir Kusturica, Kai po che! (Abhishek Kapoor), Vizontele (Yilmaz Erdogan), Baran (Majid Majidi).

Books: Genrik Senkevich "Quo vadis", Lewis Wallace "Ben Hur", Erich Maria Remarque "Arch of Triumph", ResŸat Nuri Guntekin "C‡alikusŸu" russian, ukrainian literature...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you
- speak,read & write in russian and ukrainian (but you have to stay for at least half a year :)))
- cook ukrainian borshch (2 times making the meal are enough but who will eat the 1st one? :)
- be a common ukrainian (I bet, it's an unusual behavior for you, The Lonely planet book on Ukraine has got a chapter about the ukrainians' talent to survive :D
