I adore reading: i've read a lot of Russian classics and French novels of XIX century; at the moment I'm more interested in modern literature, particularly in post-modern and poetry. Some names of my favorites: Pavich, Dostoevski, Leonid Andreev.

Music: well, it is really varies, from dark cabaret to Nick Cave and to The Whitesnake or Placebo, and Russian rock bands definitely.
Anyway, sometimes I prefer slow and gloomy retro love songs like Alexander Vertinsky.
And Folk music - for understanding nations.
