ABOUT ME

I was born in France and much later lived 7 years in Barcelona and then went to London and got stuck here ahah
Many worse places to get stuck in , I am sure.
Very open and friendly, gregarious, extrovert,young spirited with a great sense of humour and fun.
Kind and caring, adventurous but wise.
A good friend and reliable!
I like to meet new people from anywhere. I like sharing , debate and exchanging views.

I would like to renew my links to Spain now...and go back and live there.
I have travelled to over 20 countries...but not so much in last 2 years so now I'd like to start again.

PHILOSOPHY

Be honest and do not do to others what you would not like to be done to you. Have scruples and integrity.
Self develop and keep learning and growing.
I am trustworthy and tend to think people are innocent until proven guilty instead of the other way around...so I am a trusting person...and wise I hope :)
I challenge myself and try to improve on my weaknesses.
I take constructive criticism well !

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hope I can give as much or more from what I am given!!
I hope to share something of me and make a positive little difference in someone's life as they do to me! New experiences, new friends and new memories to cherish!!
For me it is not about a free bed but much more about knowing interesting and kind people with rich experiences of their own that they can share with me , hopefully. I always take the time to chat with people ...if they have the time... not just sleep and go!! NEVER ...unless I was required to do so! I have always felt enriched with the people I have met in my CS experience and travels!!! Thank you to all that have trusted me in their homes and those that will consider me as a guest in the future. You will all be welcomed in my new place in the Costa Brava/Spain.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

2013 ....I am new to this and never used it before. I was hoping to use it now to go to Barcelona...and i am sure on other travels. I did go to a get-together in London and met some nice people. This CS seems to attract nice and interesting people and travelers of course.
I would also like to use it not just for a couch but mainly for meeting people in the places I visit...and make new friends from all over the world!
Meeting people I would not otherwise...it is a great idea! (Written about 4 years ago...2013? )

2017 >>Hey, I have now used CS and it is great...!! I am very grateful to the people I stayed with etc... and the other people I have met through it. Of course I did find a couple who want to host only for getting sex from girls...but i did not stay with those, luckily! Mostly through CS you find a kinder type of people who believe in taking and giving and sharing and helping others and I do find this very refreshing in a sometimes too selfish world!
For me, when I travel alone it is a bit sad and lonely to go back at the end of the day to an empty cold and lonely hotel room!! :(
I am a people's person and it is so much better to mix in and have a chat with someone local who opens their home to me and tell me about their life and travel experiences...and who want to help and trust me! How nice to see this side of human nature for me...in a too often selfish world! Very refreshing and needed to see that more beautiful side of people! CS is perfect for this!!
I enjoy the integrating and chatting with the locals and the tips they can give me. I enjoy that opportunity to share and learn from someone new with rich travel experiences most of the time! I have kept in touch with my hosts and made friends with many that I have met again and others that I WILL meet again! In all a GREAT experience!!! Thank you!! :)

Interests

I like travel, some sports ( do and watch) and practice table tennis, tennis and cycling, swimming etc...I like walking. I like cinema, theatre, art, opera music of many kinds and soul.
I like to travel learn about new cultures meet new people and places of interest.
I am a people person and extroverted.
I like sharing .
I hate injustice and intolerance!
Travel educates you and opens your mind and stretches your tolerance level...showing you we are all different but we all have a value and deserve respect! ...wherever we are from and whoever we are...we all have something to give...and learn from others.
I am open , friendly, kind, with a good sense of humour , honest , respectful of my host's rules and home , straight forward and a good friend!
I like to study and learn new things and self develop.
I like debating things with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am warm and nice and helpful to people...helping others is important to me.
I am an emotional and sensitive person...I hate lies...u cannot trust people who lie...or keep too many secrets.
Movies? I like French movies...simple/philosophical/natural.They make me think.I like drama and thrillers and of course romantic comedies...I am a woman afterall.
Books? I got used to reading about philosophical books and self-development ones for my studies...I like to learn new things when I read...no much fiction.
Music? I like some pop... R&Roll...soul...latin/salsa...flamenco guitar...classical some jazz etc...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have not done any 'amazing things' amazing is a BIG word... I have not climbed Everest...I have done some paragliding in Turkey ...this is nice and a bit brave...not amazingly brave!! ahaha
I have given birth to my son.. this was the most magical/happy/life changing and amazing experience of my life...sorry if some are disappointed with this ahah

Things I have enjoyed...Beautiful sunsets on the French Atlantic. Waterfalls, the sea the mountains...
I visited 11 caribbean islands...how wonderful they were.
Venice I looove, so beautiful old, quaint , elegant and romantic...so unusual! No cars just vaporettos/boats to travel on ahaha
Nature is amazing , the beauty of nature on earth and beyond.I enjoy simple life and things mainly.
I admire the kindness of some people who make sacrifices to help others. I do help some charity with my time etc...as well. but this is not amazing... just normal but AMAZING would be if I gave 1 year of my life as 'medecins sans frontieres' do! Those are amazing people with amazing experiences!!
The unconditional love dogs give to humans amazes me always (we have to admit most cats are bit selfish ahah) I had one dog as a child but no more :( ...u cannot travel easy with pets :(

Teach, Learn, Share

People who have traveled always have good stories and advice as well as a great experiences that they have learnt from and of course funny and interesting stories.
I like languages so someone who speaks different languages is also good. U learn so much about people and cultures through their languages.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hopefully life and travel experiences. Chat about anything and everything. Honesty and openess. Reliability and kindness. Humour and friendliness as well as respect ( for their home and rules!) and gratitude! A new friendship in the making hopefully.
