ABOUT ME

I used to be career crazy and super ambitious. But in May 2007 i quit my job, career, home and started roaming around the planet looking for a more balanced way to live.
I spent time on an organic farm in Panama, absorbing the natural beauty of the Rift Valley in Kenya and meditating and doing Yoga in India.
Now i want to try to combine all those things, natural beauty, organic farming, yoga and Vipassana meditation with starting a new career in something more meaningful. I have just started working for a european foreign policy think tank in London, so my organic farming is reduced to a few tomatoes on the balcony!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I now have an apartment in London and would love to host but please give me plenty of notice. I am particularly interested to host other meditators. Please note i am very unlikely to host people who have just joined CS and have no references. I am also unlikely to host men unless they have many references. Sorry, but a girl has to be careful

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted a few people while living in Panama and now one or two in London. Met lots of cool people in Barcelona.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books by: Krishnamurti, Paolo Coello, Murakami, Garcia Marquez, Jack Kornfield, Osho, Jane Austen, Thomas Hardy, Isabella Allende, Alan Watts, George Alagiah, Khalid Khomeni. Also like biographies and histories, just read a great history of India by John keay.
Just read both books by Obama, thank god with have a man with a brain in the White House.

Music: used to work in the music business so very wide taste - rock, hip hop, dance, classical (especially cello), south african, indian sitar and tabla. Just not electropop.
