Survive my masters degree (1 year left), Scuba dive as often as possible.

ABOUT ME
I'm back home after 2 years of traveling. Time to be an adult, settle down, study, and get a real job. noooo
Ok so I'm studying, but the growing up thing is not going to happen.

I love music and I want to experience as many different kinds as possible. I am a Jazz singer and I am traveled with my guitar, which I love to play any where and everywhere, a few times, busking in the wrong places has nearly got me arrested :p oops

My house mate is a classical piano player, she studies with me and is super awesome.

So music is my first passion, my second is SCUBA Diving. I am a PADI scuba instructor. Diving is addictive because of the amazing things you see and the feeling of weightlessness, it is like you are flying.

If you are interested in getting your PADI scuba licence let me know and I can organise it :)

I'm a passionate, spontaneous, some times crazy, person who loves to meet people, learn new things and live each day like it's my last.
So I love meeting people who are equally enthusiastic about life and what they do, no matter what it is. Butcher, baker, candle stick maker :)

I like to experience new culture through the food, the music and the people. Anyone who can share any of these things with me is someone I'd like to meet.

I love to cook
I also enjoy going to couch surfing events when/where I can, it's so great to meet so many amazing people in such a short amount of time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been a guest only a few times (and loved every second of it); so please let me know of any etiquette and the like, that I might need to know.
I love meeting locals and having all their knowledge at hand. Hostels are "ok" but it is so much better to experience the culture through meeting people who live there.

Interests

Music -all kinds, scuba diving, cooking, traveling, photography, and surfing (the kind with the ocean and a board as well as the CS kind) :p

Gym - ok so my house mate loves it more than me, but I love leg day, and getting my swoll on :p

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies in no particular order: The blues brothers, The last Samurai,Pirates of the Carribean, The fast and the furious movies, Steven Seagal movies, Mel Gibson movies and The Lord of the Rings movies.

Music I am partial to Jazz but I love hearing music I've never heard before. Some favourites include: Sarah Vaugn, Chet Baker, Wayne Shorter, Billy Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Esperanza Spalding and Jamie Cullum

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled around Australia for 8 months and saw some awesome sights. I watched a dragonfly hatch out of a mudeye.
I have been scuba diving in quite a few places and seen creatures and scenes that look like something straight out a child's imagination.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
I'm quite good at music, I can make balloon animals (balloon sculpting) and I Have a few killer recipes I could teach. I also speak a little Japanese :)
Learn:
I want to learn all about the places I'm in, the food the culture, the language, how the people have fun and live.
Share:
I love scuba diving, I could share my under water photos. I'm travelling with my guitar so I'd be happy to play for you or better yet jam out with an awesome sing song together!!
