Hi everybody!

I am Melia, the travel lover! I've been travelling for the last 7 years all over the world. Well actually mostly in Australia, South East Asia, Mexico and Brasil. Sometimes to get a job there, sometimes volunteering or just traveling.

Easy going person, I can be very talkative and curious, but also enjoy some very quiet moments. I love travelling, it is a real passion! discovering new cultures,new people, new food, just new everything! I can't get enough of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like talking about my culture, my country and everything about France but what I really love is sharing about my trips and getting to know about other people's culture, background, way of living. I find it amazing all those cultural differences! I really enjoy listening to someone share their love for the country and discover a place like this, through a local's eyes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Stockholm, with a girl from Singapour, had a party with other couchsurfers
Road tripping around Melbourne with a few couchsurfers for a week
Hosted a couchsurfer for one month in my shared appartment in Melbourne
Couchsurfing meetings in Melbourne every week
Ten days trip around Tasmania going from one couchsurfer's place to another
Wonderful couchsurfing experience in Kuala Lumpur where I discoverd the authentic Malay culture and another time next to Penang for the end of Ramadan

I haven't had a proper house to greet people for a long time, but I am very excited to be able to do this the day I will have a cozy place of my own

Being part ofthe Fiesta Grande in a little town in Chiapas, Mexico (Patrimonio cultural inmaterial de la Humanidad por la UNESCO)
