ABOUT ME

I've moved around a lot. In grade school I went to 12 schools in 10 years. I think that experience made me a pretty flexible, and adaptable person.
I've lived in Washington State, California, Massachusetts, and have spent summers living in Bolivia, Costa Rica, and El Salvador.
I'm addicted to traveling!

I love to write, act, sing (maybe not always on key...). I love film, and having been to film school I can say that the French and the Spanish have my favorite media outside the states. I really love live music. I'll go to a concert even if I have no taste for the type of music because I think any live show is a good show.

I love food. Being a vegetarian, it's sometimes hard for me to find things I can eat while I'm on the road, but recently I went to Napoli and pretty much managed to eat a full on meal every hour!

In all honesty I just joined couch surfing before I left on this trip, and haven't really had any experience with it yet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am really afraid of sharks and I tried to conquer that fear by diving the Blue Hole in Belize, where I was in an underwater world with Black Tip Reef Sharks and spent an afternoon watching Nurse Sharks sleep... Swimming through caves and climing up waterfalls with nothing guiding us but little headlamps...having a meal in the White Desert cooked over the fire, under a blanket of stars while our Bedoiun guide lulled us into relaxation with ancient gyspy songs....waking up on an almost deserted island and wandering the beach for the fruit that had fallen in the night to eat it with my fresh baked bread a little boy's mother had baked that morning and realizing that I may very well be in Utopia... and on and on and on.
