I've been working as a Tefl teacher for the last couple of years in Asia and I'm now moving back to Australia (Sydney this time) to start a masters. I'm originally from the UK but I have also lived in Germany, Australia, America (briefly), Thailand and Hong Kong. I'm looking forward to call Sydney my home for the next 3 years at least and hopefully meeting some nice people along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm starting a masters in Sydney and may need a place to stay for a few days to find my feet before staying with a friend and then finding my own house share. I'd also like to maybe meet some people in the city I'll be calling my new home for the next 3 years :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working as an Elf in Finland, Lapland alongside Santa :) I also once ran a marathon with no training...running past my house at 32km has got to have been the hardest part... definitely considered sneaking off at that point. I also once skydived over Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, which was an amazing view.

I can speak fluent English and German so if you're looking to learn/improve either of those languages I could help. I could maybe share some useful tips on places that I've visited... Hotel recommendations, sightseeing spots, restaurants, bars, things to do... whatever I can vouch for :)
