I'm a 18-year-old German girl. At the moment I'm taking a gap year and doing work and travel in Australia. In this time I try to see as much as I can from Australia and the countries around it and to get to know their culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I'm not only interested to get to know the countries but also the people living in it! There are so many nice people all over the world and it's always very interested to hear their stories. For me couchsurfing is also one of the best ways to improve my English and to get to know not only the tourism side of a place. That's why I really would like to spent some time with my hosts and it would be great if their could show me their place.

How you probably already recognized I'm interested in traveling and get to know new things and people. I also enjoy laying on the beach, listening to music, reading, doing sports (like bicycling, swimming, horse riding, walking, kajaking...).

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy listening to a lot of different music but my favorite Genre is rock. I don't think that I have something like a favorite movie but E.g. I like Grown ups, Jurassic Park and lot more. I'm interested in fantasy books like Harry Potter and the Hunger Games but also novels and crime thrillers.
