Hello! My name is Melina and I am a performer and sex educator based in Mexico City. I am going to be in Northampton taking a sex education certificate program and am looking for a friendly place to crash near the Northampton Hilton hotel.

I'm friendly, fun, outgoing, and very independent. When I go to a new place, I want to absorb as much information as possible--this means I'll probably ask you all about your experiences and what it's like to live where you do.

My interests are in the arts and social justice. I do lots of performance and sex ed workshops!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While I won't be home that much, you can be sure that I am a great guest! I'll bring you a gift, clean up after myself, buy toilet paper, and probably cook you food from time to time ;). I would also love to reciprocate your generosity by offering you a place to stay in Mexico City.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had wonderful experiences couchsurfing in western Europe and throughout Central and South America. I love getting to know a place from a local's perspective. I have also couchsurfed unofficially, just by asking people to stay in their homes, and have made amazing friends that way.

You'll notice I don't have a lot of references from Couchsurfers who have stayed at my house, and that is because I generally have so many visitors coming to my house from other sources (all my friends send their friends to me), that I am not able to offer my apartment on Couchsurfing. But be sure that I am contributing to the global hospitality network through other means--I literally have had visitors non-stop since January.
