Γεια σου! Hi there! Bonjour! Je suis Melina et rentre tout juste d'un erasmus de 6 mois à Athènes. Avec deux copines (Clothilde et Suzie) nous voulons voyager un peu en Bretagne! Nous visons plutôt le Nord, pour l'instant. Elle veulent découvrir et ça me permettra de renouer un peu avec ce beau petit coin que je n'ai connu qu'enfant!

I grew up in France in the city of Rennes (Bretagne = Astérix and Obélix), then in a little city near Nancy (Lorraine), and I'm now studying in Strasbourg (Alsace). I'm currently in Athens for a six month Erasmus and I'd like to discover the country. It would be a pleasure to discover Greece with people!

To describe myself I'd say I'm naive, a bit shy, but mostly curious and joker. I like to smile and laugh, especially when it is shared.

Interests

My friends use to say that my things are : sleeping, laughing, listening to birds and gathering pebbles on the beach until there's no place for them in my pocket.

I definitely love to read, listen music, go to the opera, watch shows, visit museums etc..

Humans. From the world's end to your neighbours they always have something to teach you.

Environment. See landscapes during a hike or just because it's here. Learn the name of plants, insects or birds. How and why they're here. I have the feeling that changing the curves of the panorama helps to keep eyes open.

Animals. Watch them makes you feel empathic for simple things, rediscover your own feelings, like a child maybe (I'm unfortunately "arachnophobic").

DIY. since the childhood, I create things to have fun or offer something special to someone. I started sewing in high school, I learnt to knit. I also like recycling old furnitures to make new ones and have a plumbing degree so I maybe could show you some tips if you rebuilding your house.

Food and drinks. What could I say? it's an institution!

I'd say that I like Music, novels, short stories, Art and History from all over the world. I like movies but it's something I discovered lately.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I selected two experiences :
I've rised on the greatest pyramid of the mayan city Calakmul.
I've seen the birth of a butterfly and learnt butterflies poop at this very moment.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could show you :
some tips,
how to immitate a howl with your breath and your hands,
maybe some recipes (for eg if you have a whole afternoon we could make a kouign amann)
Introduce you to rebetiko, the «greek blues» and teach you how to dance zebekiko!

And I'd like to understand everything so tell me your knowledge please!
