Overview
About Me
I am interested in philosophy, political theory and gender studies. I am involved in feminist, antifascist, and queer activism.
My dream is to study documentary film-making and continue my studies through a PhD. I have worked as a journalist and am now involved in the NGO sector, working mainly with non-formal education.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because fuck capitalism, best things in life are free. I love having travelers in my house who take me out of my routine, and I love seeing new places through the eyes of locals.
I prefer to host people who are actually in some kind of need, or that at least try to travel low-cost or for free, and long-term. You should know that being a host in Athens means receiving 5 requests per day. Please don't send me a request if you are flying to Senegal to go surfing, and you are spending a night in Athens. My guess is you can pay for a hostel.
Interests
Photography, film-making (documentary in particular), studying politics, philosophy, feminist theory and any system of thought that tries to question capitalism.

Music, Movies, and Books
One of my favorite movies is "Into the Wild" and one of my favorite books is 1984 by George Orwell. As far as music goes, I'm not very well educated but I love jazz and blues.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Not sure if it counts, but drove alone from Greece to Portugal, with the company of my best friend, my dog, Lou.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Greek (and especially Cretan!) cuisine, long conversations... not much :)
