Overview
About Me
First things first: I'm quite busy at the moment so you're still very welcome to stay at our place but you need to be independent.
I'm a curious person, I studied social anthropology (people and their cultures), enjoy a good and sometimes intense discussion about any topic, I'd like to learn (about) everything and love the small but wonderful details that can make a day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I love meeting new people and staying with locals enriches the experience of a new place! When I'm home I offer a couch and/or a mattress in a small room to meet people from anywhere in the world and offer them the same as I appreciate to receive while travelling myself. I've registered to couchsurfing in 2014 but have only just started actually using it and I'm very much looking forward to exploring the couchsurfing world!
Interests
Cultures, people and their stories, hidden places to explore, anything that has to do with music (especially singing and dancing), books you can't put aside, photography, nature's wonders, colours, food (in big quantities), the history behind an object, humour and it's excrescence, learning new things every day,...

Music, Movies, and Books
For books I generally go either for fantasy or the simple but philosophical ones (e.g. Michael Ende, Roald Dahl, Antoine de Saint-Exupery, Astrid Lindgren etc.).
I most like fantasy films (e.g. lotr) but also some action and humour or a film that makes you ponder for a while.
And music... a bit of everything, always depending on my mood. I sing in a classical choir and in a Duo with someone playing the double bass which is more jazzy and pop.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'd say climbing the great Wall of China was quite an amazing thing. Or hiking on a glacier. Or maybe doing a two-day canoe tour. Or a moonlight walk in the snowy mountains...
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share some stories, some songs, maybe some Swiss chocolate, some compliments, some new points to an old discussion and an open ear to all the interesting things you want people to know about.
