About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Tell me where is this good wine....and coffee, and gallery, and cute bar?

ABOUT ME

I am a healer and naturopath by trade, by day and by night. I live and breathe what I do and absolutely love it. I'm often found embarking on creative pursuits of the moment, whilst starting another. My habitat is often in bed with tea, organic chocolate, music and books or a crisp glass of german riesling down the many melbourne wine bars.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Boycotting anything with 'tour' involved. Who the hell wants someone telling you where to go 24 hrs a day. Discover the surroundings like a local with the help of a local.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Crazy guy in Paris...he has a name for his coffee bowl called Papa Bear.
Two lovely sisters in Toulouse, creative and quirky. Took me to an awesome bar for some vin blanc.

Interests

I love to dance, sing and be merry. Food and wine are a passion of mine and am always cooking up a storm for my naturopathic website blog.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Quirky indie films.

Music: The Cure, The Mars Volta, Interpol, Jenny Wilson, Animal Collective, P J Harvey, Air, Whitest Boy Alive, Hercules and Love Affair, Siouxsie & The Banshees, The Rapture, too many to name.

Books: Non-fiction. I can get lost in a text book by fascination of something REAL. That's not to say I don't like fiction. I just struggle to concentrate because I daydream ALOT.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nursing a baby elephant 10 minutes after it was born, in the dead of night, after the mother tried to kill her. Yep.

wwoofing (organic farming) in the South of France was such a fulfilling experience. I'm keen to try it in other countries too. If you're into wholesome travel and don't mind getting your hands dirty I thoroughly recommend it! www.wwoof.org
