Présentation
À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
Try to learn as much as possible from people around me
ABOUT ME
I'm a translation student at the University of Salamanca (Spain).
I consider myself as an inquiring person, always willing to explore the world so I can try to understand it a little bit more...
Quite cheerful, but sometimes serious girl. I always try to see the glass half full.
PHILOSOPHY
Ortega y Gasset once said "we've been thrown into life just like into a theater, so now we must improvise our own role". I'm just doing my best to improvise my role. And of course, I'm very much enjoying the ride.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
"Surfing isn't just about a place to sleep. It's about exchange", and I couldn't be more agree to that sentence. Since I'm in contact with other cultures because of my studies, knowing different people and sharing with them my experiences is something that I love. We share what we have and that makes us a bit more rich.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I still haven't surfed (one day, hopefully, I will!), I think I prefer hosting, I love cooking for people, show them my city and make them feel comfortable in my house. Hosting a new couchsurfer is like discovering a brand new world :)
Centres d'intérêt
Languages, translation and the study of different cultures. A bit of literature and specially poetry (Jacques Prévert). Art (Surréalisme, Latin american Art) Politics and the new protest movements which are emerging all over the world. Concerned about social and environmental problems. Art expositions, live music and outdoor photography.
