ABOUT ME

I consider myself easy going, optimistic, outgoing, and fun loving. I love to do a bit of lots of different activities; my interests are extremely varied so it's pretty easy to find some common interests.

I grew up as an Army brat, so moving around and getting to know new places has been a part of me since birth. I really love traveling, not "just visiting" but trying to get a small taste of the local culture, or at least as much as a short time allows.

My "day job" is not very interesting (but I don't hate it!), but outside of that I also work with a couple of local film festivals. I enjoy sightseeing, but do more of that when I'm hosting or with friends (not so much on my own). I enjoy music, movies, dancing, and good food. As long as I'm in good company, I'm up for almost anything.

I love to meet new people and learn about other places and cultures firsthand.

Interests

I like to travel but don't get to do it as much as I'd like. I love to read-I always have my tablet/e reader on me or an actual book. I also love music. I have a wide variety of interests and can't possibly list them all.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Love all kinds of music, but favorites are rock and salsa.
Movies: All kinds, depends on my mood.
Books: Too many! Love to read, mostly fantasy. I prefer to read them in their original language (if it's one that I know/understand).

I can teach/ help you with your Spanish. We can practice our French. I can share stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a considerate houseguest. I'm a pretty decent cook too, so I can cook you a yummy meal.
