Overview
About Me
I was bitten by a radioactive turtle that gave me its superpowers of slowness. Or maybe I am a partially turned vampire. Orrrr, I have a genetic connective tissue disorder and a confused immune system. Whichever it is, it makes life different for me.
At the moment I am living with relatives in a rural area. I am not where I want to be. But while I'm here, I choose to live it gloriously. I volunteer with hospice, attend the local Unitarian Universalist congregation, and work on creative projects.
Being sick has gifted me with a unique perspective on life. And I have chosen to find and create ways to live as fully as I can with it. I even went to Burning Man in 2018 (it is epic). For a couple of years before that I was part of a group hosting kink events. Before that I went to a specialty college where I completed programs in hypnotherapy, life coaching, and spiritual studies. Before that I was a mall cop extraordinaire. lol.
Growing up I was raised fundamentalist Seventh-day Adventist. At 15 and 17 I preached evangelistic series in other countries. At 18 I left the church and since then I've studied extensively in world religions, mythology, philosophy, etc. I love learning about others' personal spiritual journeys and discussing philosophical musings.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travel, stories, connection, community... these are what I most value in life. I am always seeking ways to overcome limitations so I can do more than just live, I can thrive.
I'm on Couchsurfing because it can be a way for me to thrive doing what I love. Meeting interesting people, going where I want to go, and creating stories together.

Teach, Learn, Share
From my own studies and my college classes I love exchanging thoughts and knowledge around the subconscious, spirituality, life skills, mental health, etc. I'm a deeply spiritual secular mystic.
I also love singing, geeking out, trying to paint, and imagining I'll learn to play the guitar.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a mini life coaching session, varying from lifestyle goals to spiritual mentoring or whatever else you want to focus on for your life.
