Overview
About Me
I'm a New Yorker born and bred but I've spent the last 5 years moving around America and traveling the world. I'm currently living in colorful Colorado, adventuring as much as I can, working for an incredible nonprofit that builds gardens in schools across the country, and climbing up, over, and around this state's beautiful mountains. I've previously spent a year in California, 6 months in London, a month in Hawaii, and 4 months in Nepal, Thailand, and Cambodia - but now that I've found Colorado I think I'm staying put for a while.
I love meeting new people, exchanging ideas, and generally learning from others' experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's a great way to meet new people and see new places! In my experience, you get so much more out of travel by staying with locals instead of in hotels.
Interests
My first passion was books. Before I could explore the world myself, I could lead a life of adventure and discovery through the many many books I read as a child.I'm as excited to read a good novel as I am to dig into a book on science, religion, or really anything else to learn something new and challenge my ways of thinking.
I love being outdoors, and especially now that I live in Colorado I can make spending time outside a priority in my life.
Food. Does it need an explanation? I was a super picky eater as a kid (something my mother will never let me forget) but that has all changed as an adult. I want to try and taste as many new flavors and cuisines as I can. When in Rome, eat as the Romans do!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've trekked through the Himalayas in Nepal - with food poisoning.
Teach, Learn, Share
Anything and everything. Please, teach me about your city, your life, and yourself and share with me the things that are special and important to you.
Show me what you love about your city - maybe that's your favorite bar, park, or cup of coffee.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love helping to cook, and I'll always be ready to explore with you.
And for the record - if you need a quiet day, I'm also great at getting myself lost in a new city all on my own.
