Overview
About Me
Happily nestled in small rural hamlet. Never felt more at home with a landscape and community that nourishes my soul and creativity. Movement and dance as free form expressions has been front and centre for the past year. Along with that, comes music from all genres that move me. I enjoy a good storm, hike, snowshoe and cross county ski and yoga. Cycling is what I miss most about living in the city. I'm a morning person and generally wind down for the night around 10p. And baths, I love baths and sipping on herbal teas. Bathtubs are a bonus :) Self care is a priority for me. My best days are when I let them unfold without a whole lot of planning.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hotels are stale and downright isolating for me. No means to make a traveler feel at home while on the road. I prefer cooking most of my meals and being surrounded by people's possessions that hold history and stories. There's no place like home. So why am I on couchsurfing...to connect in this disconnected world!
Interests
Dance and movement practices, particularly 5Rhythms. Yoga. Chi gong. Hiking. Cycling. Snowshoeing. Cross country skiing. Green spaces/parks. Gardening (veggies, herbs and starting to get into flowers too). Cooking delicious simple meals from my garden and root cellar, everything from stews, to soups, juices, raw crackers to salads and stir frys. Always experimenting. Live life through a lense of curiosity. Simple meaningful living that's experiential based. Mindful living. People watching. Soap making, salves, creams, bath bombs. I love experimenting with DIY and it's socially productive way to hang out with friends!

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite music is everything and anything that moves me, from pop to folk to reggae, you name it! I'm in a active 'do it' phase, leaving me less time to prioritize movies and books.
