About Me
I looooove to read. I have 3 tattoos and I want more. One of my tattoos is a large Snitch from Harry Potter. Yes, I love Harry Potter and I like to think that I’m a Gryffindor. I’ve always wanted to try a Ouija board but never have. I adore animals. I am a terrible yogi. I am a vegetarian but often forget about it when in the presence of sushi. I love to try new things. I can be shy but once I get talking, I don’t stop easily. I blame the movie, Clueless, for how often I use the words, “like” and “totally”. Star Wars is very important to me. I enjoy good conversations with witty and sarcastic souls. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am from Orlando, Florida so all I know about traveling is touristy, gimmicky, mouse-related amusement. I am broadening my horizons by checking out new places and meeting new people!
I have an 8 year old son. He’s my best pal and we do everything together - movies, concerts, parks, hikes, beach, parties, cook, homework...you get it. Because of this, once a year I go on a trip by myself to nurture my inner adult.

Music, Movies, and Books
It is really hard to pick favorites!
Music: I love the blues, punk, and some folk. Some great albums: Brothers by The Black Keys; Galore by The Cure; and Emotionalism by The Avett Brothers...but really there are SO many more.
Books: There are far too many to pick favorites. Right now I am in love with One More Thing by B.J. Novak.
Movies: The Princess Bride! Star Wars (4-6, obviously)! Pi! Kill Bill! I tend to love anything absurd or absurdly funny. :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I jumped off of a 35 foot high train trestle into a creek and it was the most exhilarating thing I’ve ever done! I want to do it again!
