My name is Melissa, I’m 32 years old. I’m a proud mom to a 3-year-old daughter, Charlie-Lune, and I have a 1-year-old Australian Shepherd named Wayra. I work as a professional cook. I used to travel extensively, and now that my daughter is old enough, I want to share this passion with her. I’d love to introduce her to the world through Couchsurfing—a network of sharing and mutual support that I often used during my travels, and through which I’ve also hosted travelers at home. In my life, there are experiences I will cherish forever. To give a few examples: I hitchhiked across New Zealand on my own, sleeping in a tent along the way. In Thailand, I had the extraordinary opportunity to live with the Karen tribe, completely unexpectedly. I also walked part of the Camino de Santiago with my dog, and in Morocco, I shared nights with Berbers in the Middle Atlas mountains..
