About Me

Hi!
I'm new to couchsurfing (been registered for ages but haven't really used it yet)
.
I grew up in Germany which was alright but tbh I was just waiting to finally finish school and get outa there. Spent a year in Ireland doing a student exchange at a high school, then after my graduation I went off to explore Australia on a Working holiday and spent a couple of months in Asia.
In summer I then visited a friend in Brighton and decided to come back to live here for a bit which I did in October last year (Wow, that makes it sound like it was ages ago).

I'm really easy-going and open minded and get along with most people very well. I love sharing my stories and listening to those of others and I'm really interested in languages and different cultures.

I'm a bit of a hippie, love my spiritual stuff and all that shit but am into science as well.
Can be chill but also talkative and fun to have around I guess? Basically if you're tolerant and a bit open minded as well I'm sure we'd get along. :)

I'm vegeterian but don't mind if you eat meat, keep it in the fridge, etc.

I work full time at a restaurant at the moment meaning my shifts vary and I might get home around midnight some days (even during the week) I'll try to be as quiet as possible but just to let you know. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been staying at friends' houses and a hostel since I came here and am now actively looking at apartments but if you've ever done that you know it takes time.

As much as I liked staying at hostels when traveling I don't fancy doing that atm which made me look for an alternative option and I thought this would be quite a nice experience being able to meet new people as well. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like most kinds of music depending on my mood, can't stand most new age radio music tho... Do prefer trance, dnb, reggae and old rock classics :)

I like loads of films and TV shows like Into the wild, V for Vendetta, Spaced, Rick and Morty, The big Lez Show ;), Marvel films to name a few.
I'm getting into Star Wars and I do love Doctor Who a lot!

My favourite books are The Book thief and The four agreements. :)

I'm also in a huge Harry Potter phase atm! :P

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most of the things I've experienced traveling...

Had amazing experiences at festivals, diving, road trippin' through Tasmania. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Not sure what they mean by that...

I guess I can share some of the experiences I've made, teach you some German, ...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm not great at cooking but I know some dishes. ;)
Cultural exchange I guess. I'll make you some nice tea from time to time^^, we can share expenses for food, etc.

I can offer you a good discount if you come eat at my work as well! ;)

I'm really easy about that. Sharing is caring, aye.^^
