My name is Mélissa, I am from Ottawa Canada. This will be my second time using couch surfing during my travels. Last time i used this site was two years ago and i was traveling around a few countries in Europe. This time i will be traveling with a friend we are doing a 3 week road trip around Scotland. Her name is Véronique, we have been friends since high school. We have traveled together many times in the past and we are both very excited for this trip, seeing the beauty of scotland and meeting great peoples.

I love the outdoors, being around a campfire and enjoying a good beer with good company. I am very excited to do some hiking around scotland.
I enjoy cooking fun dinners from video's i see on facebook :D my next recepie will be avocado pudding.

I do have a ear problem (permanent ringing) so i have to sleep with a fan. I have my own travel size fan. It is my travel companion haha but i want you to know in advance because the noise may bother you or other guests and i don't want to cause any problems

Véronique does not have a couch surfing profile as this will be her first time traveling this way and she would prefer to see how it is before joinning the community but she is very excited to meet and hang out with locals as well. Véronique enjoys reading, cooking, cooking and eating soup, concerts, meeting new people and hanging out at her cottage.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked for 6 weeks in a turtle conservation in Costa Rica a few years ago

I lived in one of Canada's national park (Banff) for 6 months, And realised the skiing i was doing back home in Ottawa is all the bunny hill compared to there 🤣

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm always excited for anything and i am very easy going. I love exchanging travel story's
I find the best way to finish a day is around a camp fire or with a game of cards with a little drink
