Hello my name is Melissa!! I am an actor and passionate traveler. I love to meet knew people and learning new cultures as much as I can. I have one more semester of school and then I am either basing myself in New York, LA, or through a traveling theater company I am building up. I am a super active person and I love nature. I have been very fortunate to be able to travel to Africa, Peru, China, Costa Rica, all over the united states, and Europe. I love meeting new people, roaming around cities, and eating as much local food as possible while doing it. I'm excited to make bond with new friends and create great memories through this journey!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

traveling and learning about different cultures is a huge part of what makes me fulfilled in life. I have always had a huge passion to travel, and was fortunate to start traveling at a young age with my mom. The reason why I would rather couch surf rather than stay in cheap hostel is because I think it's an amazing opportunity to meet local people who have new idea, cultures, and backgrounds. To me life is about being open to one's surroundings, connecting to people from new and old places and to be open to whatever comes your way
