Overview
About Me
I am currently a full time traveler and aspiring writer. This past year I was working in Utah with unaccompanied refugee minors in foster care. Before then I was a teacher for 5 years. I worked in a variety of classrooms: Elementary Spanish, Algebra, Middle School Art, & Science.
I grew up skiing the slopes of Utah, hiking the canyons, and camping in and around the state. I returned to Mexico to visit extended family a few times a year and attribute my love of traveling and immersion in a different culture to this experience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I'm traveling I enjoy meeting locals and usually do so by visiting tiny markets or volunteering with an organisation. Recently I went couchsurfing with my best friend in Denver and loved the experience of getting to know people by staying with them.
Interests
My interests include painting, skiing, reading, jogging, hiking, kayaking, jamming out to music, and anything new and exciting I can get my hands on.
