I grew up in the north suburbs of Chicago. I went to school at Northern Michigan way up north in the U.P. for my undergraduate degree. I moved out to California to work at a science and outdoor education camp for a season and currently moved back home to work as a teacher's assistant in a special education classroom while preparing to apply to graduate school for social work. I come from a big Irish/Italian family and love animals. In my free time, I like to rock climb and spend as much time as I can outdoors.
