I'm a 46 year old single Mom to an almost grown 17 year old. I work as a consultant for renewable energy development. I love to travel and meet people and welcome new adventures always.

I just learned about couch surfing! My house always has people landing there for a time as they transition through one chapter to another. My foster teen just left for university and my son will graduate high school this year and is excited to go out into the world. I'm not sure where I'll land once my nest is empty but in the meantime I have a safe and welcoming home I'd like to share from time to time. And I travel a lot - something I couldn't do the last couple decades being a single Mom. I love the freedom of travelling alone but I'd like to meet more people in the places I visit so this seems like a great fit.
