I'm going to be travelling to a few locations for scientific conferences and believe CouchSurfing would be the best way to learn about local cultures. I'm also really excited about the idea of making new friends!

I have a wide variety of tastes when it comes to music, movies and books.

Music: I love anything from Shawn Mendes to Rihanna to Frank Sinatra. As a musician, I enjoy classical music as well.

Movies: Favourites include Captain America, Cars, and documentaries narrated by David Attenborough.

Books: Favourites include Harry Potter, The Da Vinci Code, The Time Traveler's Wife, The Little Prince, The Outsiders and Matilda.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I've been lucky enough to nurse baby manatees back to health, swim amongst sharks, look at the milky way under two different hemisphere and travel the world and experience so many other wonderful things.

As someone with a graduate degree in science, I'm happy to discuss higher education topics with my hosts. I'm always open to learning new things, too.

I love learning new things and have great listening skills. With a good cup of tea (or a cold drink) in my hand, I'd love to talk for hours about your life experiences!

I was also a chef for a little while, so I'd be happy to cook, and clean around the house to thank you for your hospitality. I like a good party, but I also enjoy the outdoors or a relaxed night in.
