About Me

I just love being alive and living life to the fullest! I have always wanted to travel more abroad especially to Spanish speaking countries. I love the language, the food and the music especially bachata!. I am always trying new things; I ski, rollerblade, hike, kayak, ice skate, and basically anything that has to do with outdoors. My main goal is to further pursue my learning of the Spanish language. I love children and I'm currently work as a reading and math interventionist for 5th and 6th grade (it was easier to just put "paraprofessional" for the drop down). I am doing my student teaching in the Fall and should be teaching by next year! I am also a huge animal lover - I have a mini Australian Shepard, a cat, and two bunnies that I love with all my heart. Oh and I also love wine...yea that's me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I love traveling and seeing new and beautiful places! I really love the Spanish language and my ultimate goal is to be fluent.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all different types of music ... a lot of my close friends are in bands so I get the advantage of live music all the time and they expose me to every genre under the sun. I listen to a lot of one hit wonders but I like Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Mayer, 3 Doors Down, the Weeknd, Halsey & most pop that's on the radio but Spanish music is really a favorite of mine - I listen to Aventura, Romeo, Prince royce, Ozuna. My very first concert I ever went to was Don Omar - everyone always thinks that's funny because most people's first concert is usually in their native language.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm I mean I thought skiing was pretty amazing. But teaching my first student to read was pretty amazing too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am always up for anything! I'm just a good friend to have around; if you wake up and think "Hey i'm in the mood to go for a run" or "I need to go to the store" - Sometimes its nice just to have someone to talk to during daily activities. I am a very open person so I always have something to say and I'll pretty much tell you anything there is to know about me if you ask haha. I am very helpful and I pitch in wherever I can.
