About Me
Hello! My name is Melissa, and I am an wanderlusting, chocolate eating, salsa dancing, book reading English teacher to preschool kids. Last year, I moved to Madrid, Spain where I've met lots of interesting people from all over the world and can't wait to meet new people through couchsurfing. I grew up in Seattle and love to go to the beach and eat and dance my way through cities.
Some of my favorite things include happy hour, nachos, and delicious tinto de verano's in the sun (it's a Spanish drink- I can make it for you)!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing to experience new places from a local's perspective. I can't wait to get to know a city from someone who lives there and see all of their favorite things and hopefully some hidden places I couldn't have found on my own. I'm outgoing and up for all of the adventures.

Teach, Learn, Share
I speak fluent English and pretty good Spanish. If you want to improve either languages, I'd be happy to help practice with you. I can also make burgers, pancakes, and all the American delicacies (oh yes, we have them) you could ever want. I can cook for you, and you can teach me a dish from your country if you'd like :)
