Hi! I'm Melissa (Mel), 20 years old, natural from Petrópolis, in Rio de Janeiro and currently living in Curitiba, Paraná. I study Physics (emphasis on astronomy) and arts. I'm really into the composition of the details of the universe on a scientific and artistic scale. I'm a Scout and I'm passionate about traveling, meeting new places and people, specially about getting to know the daily life in other cultures. Something simple "tourism" will never show about places. And not only cultural aspects but also physical geography of spaces. I like the idea of Couchsurfing because it's the best way to get to know people's daily lives. Also the best way to meet the people of the city, instead of going somewhere new, staying in a hotel and not knowing the people who live there, as well as the day-to-day details that fascinate me so much.
