I love art of any form, music is the reason I eat sleep and breathe. Making or appreciating both art and music are preferred ways to spend my time. That or getting cozy with tea and a good book.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed with a woman in Canadaigua, New York who took me to see the Mumford and Sons concert in the summer of 2012.
Shortly after with a group of young people in an apartment in New York City.
Since then I've couch surfed once in Minneapolis, several places in England, France, Germany and Greece!

Interests

Interested in art, music, animals, people, solitude. And, of course, my cats.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Cloud Atlas, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Hard Candy, SLC Punk

Music: Any variation of punk, and anything from ska, to reggae, to soul, to folk, to rock and anything in between. There's no music too strange for me - but as catchy as it is I'm really not fond of popular contemporary music, also not crazy about country.

As far as books go I love Less Than Zero by Bret Easton Ellis, The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold, Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell etc. etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm awe-stricken by the simplicity in life. I find joy in the smallest things and am all about the silver linings. From watching the sunrise from a roof top in my own city to watching bees hard at work at Central Park.
